1. Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths in divisions properly

•            The Rural Registrars appointed by Registrar General are doing this job.

1. Issuance of copies of registered birth, mrriage, death certificates.

•           Issue Birth, Marriage and death registered in the whole island after the year of 1960 up to the year of 2015.
•           Issue all the certificates registered in this division from 1930.
• Charged for Copies }
•           Rs. 100/- for a copy if they know the Registered Number and Date and Rs. 100/- for every additional copy.
•           Rs. 200/- for a copy if they do not know the number and registered date and Rs. 100 for every additional copy.
•           Copies are issued only from 8.45 AM to 3.00 PM on Week Days.

1. Corrections of birth and death certificates and modification of named in birth certificates.

•          This service is valid for only the certificates registered in this division. People can correct or modify their certificates by completing formats and application forms properly. Files accept only between 8.30 am - 3.00 pm in week days.
